I have two sons who, especially when they were little guys, would compete for my attention. I LOVE the way the mom in this book cleverly satisfies both of they boys with her wonderful replies. After my sons had heard the book read to them many, many times they would sometimes say, "Mom, who do you love the best and don't give us any of that purple stuff either!" It brought a chuckle to all three of us when the boys were little and still makes us smile many years later!;)
