Dr. Seuss' birthday is March 2nd and on that day many schools celebrate
the wonderful books written by Theodor Seuss Geisel. Here are some

Activities
- Start the day off with eating Green Eggs and Ham!
- Make a class graph of favorite Dr. Seuss books
- Make up funny rhyming words and stories (There's a Wocket in my
Pocket) is lots of fun for this!
- Let your students wear their favorite hat for the whole day (The 500
hats of Barthelemue)
- Let the kids design their own hat out of construction paper, sequins,
feathers, and glitter (The Cat in the Hat)
- My students love doing this Dot-to-Dot of the Cat and the Hat.
